This slew of rare appearances by Mudvayne and P.O.D. is guaranteed to be a headbang-worthy extravaganza! The headlining outing will only have three shows - yes, three! But it’s going to be power-packed with countless iconic heavy metal staples! For instance, the show at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods features a total of four metal bands – all of which are monsters on stage and known for their outstanding production, immense energy, and excellent musicianship. Mudvayne has long been a prolific purveyor of alternative-infused metal with progressive tendencies. Their music has been praised by fans across the world for its innovative approach to modern heavy metal. Led by original members Greg Tribbett, Matthe McDonough, and Chad Gray with longtime bassist Ryan Martinie, Mudvayne is anticipated to set the night ablaze with their fantastic hits.
Meanwhile, P.O.D. will join this mini tour as a special guest. This 2024, the band is promoting the release of their latest album, Veritas. Set for release in May, the album has already spawned three outstanding singles, “Drop,” “Afraid to Die,” and “I Won’t Bow Down.” A Christian metal band from San Diego, California, P.O.D., achieved commercial success upon releasing their music in the late ‘90s and early 2000s. They have six number 1 Christian Albums and four albums that entered the Billboard 200’s Top 10. In 2001, the band released their first number 1 song, “You of the Nation,” spawned from their fourth album, Satellite.
The show also features performances from support acts Hyro the Hero and A Killer’s Confession. Hyro the Hero has gained notoriety for cleverly infusing hip-hop and metal music. His fresh take on nu-metal rap has earned him a massive following. Last year, he dropped his latest album, Bound for Glory, which critics deemed one of the most innovative rap metal albums in the past few years.
Lastly, Killer’s Confession brings their brand of alternative metal staples to the table. Debuting as a three-piece band, A Killer’s Confession will bring much hype to the crowd as they deliver their career-spanning hits!
